MacDeltaMomentum is a NinjaTrader 8 separate-panel indicator. It puts two reads in one window: MACD momentum explosion and volume delta.
MACD momentum Fast EMA minus slow EMA is the MACD (each leg can be double-smoothed). Momentum is this bar’s MACD minus the prior bar, multiplied by Sensitivity. That value plots as histogram bars: TrendUp when it is ≥ 0, TrendDown when it is negative. ExplosionLine is 2 × Mult × StdDev(ChannelLength) — the width of a Bollinger-style channel, not a second MACD. A fixed DeadZone line (default 165) sits on the same scale as a no-trade threshold.
Volume delta On a live chart, last prints at or above the ask add to buys; prints at or below the bid add to sells. Prints inside the spread are ignored. Size Filter (default 2) drops prints smaller than that size. Historical and transition bars do not add a 1-tick series; they use signed body/range × volume so delta magnitude stays comparable to the MACD bars and does not crush the scale.
Delta is drawn as candles on that same MACD scale (open / high / close). Per-bar delta is the default. Turn on Cumulative Delta to accumulate within the session. Show Delta Divergences is off by default; it only runs when Cumulative Delta is also on. It uses Stochastics (3, 14, 3) and draws triangles on the price panel when cumulative delta and price make a lower-low / higher-high with K ≤ 20 or ≥ 80.

FAQ
What does the momentum/explosion part show?
Green vs maroon bars show whether momentum is accelerating up or down. When those bars punch through the explosion line, the move is stretching hard.
What does the delta part show?
The candles in the same panel show buying vs selling volume (delta). A push with momentum is confirmation. Turn on Cumulative Delta and Show Delta Divergences to mark price-panel triangles when volume and price disagree.
How to install the indicator MacDeltaMomentum in Ninjatrader?
Download the .zip file 2. Go to Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-On. 3. Select the .zip file, Open. 4. Restart NinjaTrader. 5. Add the indicator to a chart. (Look for the folder HelixLab under indicators.) You can install the indicator on up to 5 PCs.
